By day I'm an elder law Medicaid specialist, which means I spend a lot of time helping families navigate systems that weren't designed to be navigated. It's meaningful work. It also means that by evening, my brain is very ready to go somewhere else entirely.

That somewhere else usually involves old newspapers, genealogy records, a psychology study I probably shouldn't have started reading at 10pm, or a piece of folklore that's been quietly following me around for a week. I live in historic Bucks County, Pennsylvania, which is exactly as atmospheric as it sounds — full of old stone buildings, overgrown cemeteries, and the kind of quiet that makes you pay attention.

This Might Be Nothing But... started because I kept having questions I couldn't shake. Not the kind with clean answers — the kind that show up in neuroscience and mythology and forgotten history all at once, as if they're trying to tell you something. I figured if I was going to fall down these rabbit holes anyway, I might as well bring people with me.

The show isn't about proving or disproving anything. It's about following a question with genuine curiosity and healthy skepticism, and seeing where the evidence, the history, and the research actually lead. Sometimes that's somewhere surprising. Sometimes it's somewhere ordinary. Either way, I think the journey is worth taking.

When I'm not researching, I'm usually out with a camera — photographing old architecture, stained glass, cemeteries, and the quiet moments that make people stop and look twice. Photography is just another way of asking: what's the story here?
